As a Mediation & Roaming Systems Analyst with expertise in usage processing and supporting billing systems you will play a crucial role to monitor usage volumes for accuracy, handle error corrections when needed, ensuring data flows to downstream systems, and working with cross functional teams and vendors to resolve issues. You will play a crucial role in turning raw data into valuable insights for our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to leverage data to drive insights, measure performance, and support data-driven decision-making within the organization. Your work will have a direct impact on optimizing operations, improving efficiency, and driving strategic growth.
Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to)
Responsible for making changes in the mediation platform to various data elements such as rates, agreements, etc. while following existing policies and change control processes.
Responsible for monitoring high usage and bringing potential issues to the appropriate internal teams.
Raise issues found and coordinate corrective actions. As issues are identified during the monitoring process, the analyst will raise these issues and coordinate with the relevant teams to implement corrective actions. Issues with processing must be detected and resolved timely in order to reduce the risk of loss revenue.
Gather data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and other relevant internal or external systems.
Gather data from multiple sources, both internal and external, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Clean, validate, and transform data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Identify patterns, trends, and relationships within the data to derive meaningful insights.
Design and develop visually appealing and intuitive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to present KPIs and performance metrics.
Communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels.
Create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to effectively communicate analysis results to stakeholders.
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards for real-time monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs).
Continuously monitor and track KPIs to identify any deviations from targets or benchmarks.
Provide regular updates.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of business processes and initiatives, suggesting improvements based on data analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
Use data-driven insights to guide business strategy, address challenges, and identify growth opportunities.
Stay updated with the latest data analysis techniques, tools, and trends.
Develop and enhance technical skills in programming languages, statistical software, and data visualization tools.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related disciplines.
Minimum of 5 Years’ experience in an analyst position or related field.
Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
Proficiency in data analysis, data manipulation, and data visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
Solid understanding of statistical concepts and techniques.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent communication skills to present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 year of relevant experience in the wireless Telecommunications industry, roaming experience is preferable.
