Job Description:
Aegis Aerospace is currently looking for an IT and Physical Space Coordinator to join our team in Houston, TX.
Overview:
The purpose and function of this position is to perform Information Technology (IT) and physical space coordination tasks in support of Exploration Mission Planning Office and Exploration Operations Office within the Moon-to-Mars (M2M) Program. Under the direction of a lead, tasks include: IT equipment coordination for new and existing employees, website maintenance and management, physical space coordination, equipment and IT access for new employees, coordinating/facilitating upgrades for teleconferencing equipment. The person will work at Johnson Space Center with a large team of System Engineering and Integration (SE&I) and Exploration Operations personnel.
Build and manage websites and workflows using team collaboration tools such as Windchill, Confluence Wiki, and SharePoint and managing tool access – includes basic scripting as required.
Facilitate/coordinate location changes for personnel, furniture and IT equipment, process associated paperwork and perform pre and post walk-throughs.
Coordinate space, equipment and IT access for new employees.
Coordinate/facilitate new construction and/or purchase of IT and/or teleconferencing equipment to support space moves and teleconference room modifications.
Coordinate purchase of selected IT hardware and software.
Participate in team meetings, status work progress and provide inputs for team success.
Required:
A bachelor's or associate degree in a related field with a minimum of 2 years of related experience or a High School graduate with a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
Experience in Information Technology/Information Architecture
Experience working with multiple stakeholders simultaneously and multi-task assignments.
Self-motivated and proactive in communicating with others without a lot of hands on direction.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to learn on the job.
Experience with both Mac and PC operating systems.
Ability to identify concerns and gaps in information and communicate concerns to leadership in a diplomatic manner.
Ability to work and communicate with multiple people for various purposes in parallel.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
DESIRED:
Experience with basic website programming (e.g., Java, HTML, CSS)
Experience in hardware and/or software purchase/procurement
Experience with SharePoint and Windchill
Experience with Cloud Computing
Experience with Adobe tools (e.g. Acrobat Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate)
Experience with NASA systems
