Job Description
Research Associateresponsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
Supports late-stage cell therapy products by participating in process characterization studies, process development sample testing and analytical assay development.
Performs experiments, data processing, and presents results to internal departments and in technical reports
Communicates scientific findings, provides status updates on assigned tasks in one-on-one discussions and within the project team and department meetings
Contributes to the functions of the laboratory including ordering, organization, chemical and equipment monitoring, and maintenance
The ideal candidate would possess:
Strong experience with mammalian cell culture
Experience with DNA/RNA extractions and assays such as qPCR, ddPCR, or DNA/RNA quantitation
Hands-on experience with QX ONE and QuantStudio 7 instrumentation preferred but not required
Working knowledge of analytical method development and validation in a GMP environment
Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to write and review SOPs, technical reports and scientific papers
Ability to interact effectively with peers and managers as part of a multi-disciplinary team and work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or other related degree concentration
2 - 4 years of relevant experience
Understanding of GMP requirements
