Overview
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sr. Training & Development Specialist will design, evaluate, and optimize blended learning solutions. This role will help transition existing virtual instructor-led training to a comprehensive, blended approach. This role partners with instructional design in eLearning development, and data analytics to identify knowledge gaps and implement effective learning strategies. The Senior Specialist will collaborate closely with stakeholders and teammates including subject matter experts to design and deliver learning experiences that integrate virtual instructor-led, eLearning, and self-paced learning formats, ensuring scalable and impactful training solutions.

Salary range for this position is $90,593.36 - $121,250.74 with a progressive benefit package.
Responsibilities

Develops content across multiple delivery modes, partnering with Instructional Design to implement best practices to create engaging and effective training materials aligned with business objectives.
Leads the transition of virtual instructor-led training to blended learning formats, incorporating eLearning, self-paced modules, and virtual instructor-led components tailored to various business units.
Uses data analytics to identify and address knowledge gaps, analyze training effectiveness, and makes recommendations for continuous improvement in program design.
Collaborates with the instructional design team to support the implementation of learning technologies and platforms that enhance training engagement and accessibility. Provides guidance on eLearning tools and analytics software, ensuring alignment with training goals and learner needs.
Develops assessments and feedback mechanisms to measure training effectiveness, using insights to refine and improve learning programs continuously.
Manages multiple training projects, balancing timelines and resources to achieve optimal outcomes for the organization’s learning objectives.
Remains current with trends in learning, training, and technology through continuous learning, including conferences, reading, and professional networking.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Learning & Development, Instructional Design, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years in training and development, particularly in creating, delivering, and evaluating blended learning programs.
Proficiency with virtual training platforms, LMS systems, analytics tools, and strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with instructional design software, such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate, is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Expertise in data analytics to drive decisions and evaluate learning outcomes. Strong project management skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Highly adaptable, resourceful, and solution-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Organized, punctual, and able to prioritize assignments independently.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle. Frequent travel to various credit union locations is a requirement of the role.
Must be bondable.
Reporting Relationship Reports to Training and Development Manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities This position is not responsible for the supervision of others.
