The Opportunity
Oversee quality and safety initiatives.
Ensure the site exceeds national benchmarks in CMS quality measures.
Collaborate with hospital quality personnel to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards.
Develop and implement projects to improve service excellence and patient experience.
Compare patient feedback survey results to Vituity state/region averages and national benchmarks.
Respond to written and verbal patient complaints in a timely manner utilizing service-recovery techniques.
Track and trend patient complaints, including the QI /OR director as necessary in concerning cases.
Train and mentor providers in patient experience techniques.
Coordinate with hospital patient experience personnel.
Coordinate efforts with key leaders in central operations.
Enhance the clinical knowledge of site providers.
Participate and lead multidisciplinary meetings involving nursing, providers, and ancillary services.
Initiate process improvement and engage hospital project management resources to implement change.
Coordinate workflows with nursing leadership, case managers, social workers, and hospital ancillary services.
Coach underperformers and share best practices.
Participate in the hospital-wide throughput committee.
Create and champion clinical pathways.
Develop relationships with appropriate inpatient resources, case managers, hospitalists, and palliative care.
Develop relationships with appropriate outpatient resources such as skilled nursing facilities, sobering centers, urgent carecenters, primary care providers, and mental health crisis centers.
Establish and actively manage an inventory of resources available for patients to assist in transition post-ED/post-inpatient.
Ensure best practices are utilized with regard to handoffs for all transitions.
Encourage employee engagement in site initiatives.
Facilitate regular communication with site providers.
Establish and execute a detailed orientation and onboarding for new hires.
Provide ongoing feedback to employees.
Address performance concerns in conjunction with the Medical Director and People Operations.
If applicable, ensure new hire Internship is running successfully.
Create or assist in creation of advanced provider work schedule.
Serve as timecard administrator for advanced providers.
Monitor site financial performance and identify and create new areas for growth and revenue.
Develop an expertise and understanding of the yearly budget, financial performance measures, monitoring systems, and billing and reimbursement issues / systems.
Improve patient census and billing practice statistics to optimize reimbursement for the practice.
Maintain awareness and interactions with payers such as significant IPAs, Medical Groups, Foundations, ACOs associated with the hospital / health system.
Coordinate efforts with key leaders in central operations.
Required Experience and Competencies
Licensed advanced provider (PA/NP/CRNA) who has successfully graduated from an accredited training program required.
Maintain membership and privileges on Hospital's medical staff and comply with and abide by the bylaws, rules and regulations, and the policies and procedures of Hospital's medical staff where services are being provided required.
Full-time employee status required.
Superior clinical skills to serve as role model by setting high standards.
Administrative experience and aptitude preferred.
Interest in interpreting complex financial data with an understanding of finance and accounting as they relate to practice management preferred.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to motivate teams, manage multiple assignments, work successfully with a diversity of people and locations, maintain good working relationships; Supportive team member; Ability to establish effective relationships quickly with both clients and non-clients preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred.
Excellent relationship building and process improvement skills preferred.
Ability to lead and guide group discussions effectively, ensuring that all participants are engaged, focused, and contributing to the desired outcomes.
Excellent communication skills encompassing not only clear and concise verbal and written communication, but also active listening, empathy, and the ability to tailor communication to diverse audiences, including patients, families, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
Moderate ability and knowledge in change management and process improvement; can guide teams and departments through transitions smoothly; involves analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, implementing changes, and ensuring successful adoption.
Knowledge and ability to project manage. This includes the ability to plan, organize, execute, and monitor complex initiatives efficiently; defining project scope, setting timelines, allocating resources, managing risks, and coordinating with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Advanced process improvement skills, helping to identify areas of inefficiency and implementing changes to enhance workflows; can analyze clinical and administrative processes, identify bottlenecks or gaps, and implement evidence-based practices to optimize resource utilization, reduce errors, and enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
Strong relationship-building skills in order to establish and maintain connections with patients, families, colleagues, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Proficient in technology and can navigate electronic health record systems, telemedicine platforms, medical devices, and other digital tools efficiently.

Vituity in collaboration with TrueCare, are like minded organizations in their mission to improve the health of patients in their communities regardless of barriers.
Vituity is excited to partner with TrueCare to provide Urgent Care and same-day care access to the community in their existing locations.
Providers will be cross credentialed at all Urgent Care locations.
Solo provider coverage.
