The Opportunity


  • Creates and monitors various workflow reports and dashboards for Director or Senior Manager. Communicates trends as needed.
  • Create a weekly summary report of department performance utilizing established Key Performance Indicators for Director.
  • Perform time studies on functional tasks, compile information and make recommendations.
  • Billing analysis, patient account review and/or patient correspondence.
  • Ability to interpret legal documents.
  • Providing training and/or assistance on a full range of revenue cycle processes, as requested.
  • Responsible for managing external relationships, as assigned.
  • May include reviewing audits, scheduling training, offering feedback, facilitating calls, validation of file transfers weekly.
  • Partner with external clients to drive efficient and collaborative partnerships and integrations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather input requirements such as vendor capabilities, timelines, and budget.
  • Act as a liaison between employees, internal support areas, and other departments.
  • Proficient and effective implementation of change management.
  • Serve as liaison with Directors, Client Service Managers, Development, other internal Vituity functions, and leadership team to manage progress, measure performance, and communicate status to key stakeholders.
  • Work with the functional managers to understand their vendor needs and strategy to implement project solutions.
  • Provide performance feedback to the functional managers of team members weekly as required for successful team management and completion of needed deliverables.
  • Advocate for and implement new processes to provide efficiency, innovation, and speed.
  • Develop, standardize, and implement vendor processes and procedures in partnership with Billing Operations.
  • Provide guidance during the duration of the project.
  • Facilitate training events, as needed.
  • Help facilitate projects across multiple departments.
  • Work special reports regarding claims patterns, reimbursement trends, etc.
  • Coordination of project documentation and assistance with tracking and monitoring various projects.
  • Forms high-level contacts of a sensitive nature, both internally and externally.
  • Interfaces with multiple departments, internally and externally, in representation of Operations.
  • Creation and maintenance of organizational charts and department specific workflow matrixes.
  • Facilitate departmental communications, manage calendars, coordinate meetings, arrange all travel needs.
  • Coordinate and act as official recorder for the Operational Meetings, including drafting agendas, preparing packets and writing minutes.
  • Reconcile and prepare expense reports.
  • Communicate any issues/messages/inquiries effectively and professionally by showing sensitivity and respecting confidentiality. This includes both written and verbal communications with internal and external clients.
  • Other duties as assigned by Director of Denials.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Required Experience and Competencies


  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 2+ year advance experience in related field required.
  • Requires strategic vision, demonstrates leadership skills, and must be experienced and comfortable leading complex, high dollar initiatives from inception through implementation required.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, creative conceptualization
  • Demonstrated ability to handle detailed work accurately and quickly, work to deadlines on multiple projects, and to work as a team member in a collaborative and participatory manner.
  • Ability to interact both in person and over the phone with a courteous and professional demeanor.
  • Accustomed to acting with independent initiative within established authority guidelines.
  • Experience with and understanding of office systems and operations that will improve organization and efficiency.
  • Ability to lead an initiative or project when appropriate and act as a supportive team member when appropriate.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
  • Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and MS Teams.
  • Grammatical, proofreading, and editing experience. Basic algebraic math skills.
  • Must possess a valid CA driver license and have current auto insurance.
  • Ability to analyze various types of reports.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial information and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to inquiries and complaints from clients or patients.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and compliance.
  • Ability to exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

We are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $27.28 - $34.10, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible to participate in our annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program, which is based on the company's annual performance. If you are hired at Vituity, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience.
