Title: Certified Medical Assistant


Location: Alpharetta, GA


Hours: 7:30a to 5p Monday - Friday


About the Role:


As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team, providing both administrative and clinical support to medical providers. This position requires a blend of technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a genuine dedication to patient care.


Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently schedule and manage patient appointments
• Seamlessly handle patient check-in and check-out processes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Process insurance claims and address billing inquiries
• Manage medical supplies and inventory
• Accurately take and record vital signs
• Assist with medical examinations and procedures
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
• Administer medications as directed by a physician
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens
• Perform basic laboratory tests (e.g., urinalysis, rapid strep tests)
• Assist with minor procedures (e.g., wound care, injections)

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program
• Current CMA certification
• Must possess a valid CMA license in the state of Georgia.
• Prior medical office experience required


• BLS certification


• Allscripts EMR experience preferred
