Property & Casualty experience is required.
10+ years experience is highly preferred.
IT experience or large IT transformations is required.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management, business stakeholders and project SME's.
Build, manage, and track project plans through execution.
Compile reporting documentation to monitor, track and prioritize deliverables.
Monitor and update resource allocation needs to ensure coverage on project tasks.
Monitor the progress of the project and adjust as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
Identify program risk and mitigation plans to minimize impact on deliverables.
Lead meetings related to project status, risks, issues, action items, or change controls.
Effectively communicate relevant project information and provide direction to stakeholders and the Project Team.
Coordinate activities across different organizational functions.
Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion.
Report project performance via the PMO and escalate wherever necessary to ensure project success.
Education:
10+ years of project management experience, utilizing agile and waterfall project management methodologies and proven experience in the successful delivery of large projects.
Proficient in the use of JIRA, Smartsheet, Microsoft Office suite of tools, including Excel, Project, Visio, and PowerPoint.
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field desired.
Insurance experience or familiarity with the insurance lifecycle is desirable.
