This role will coordinate the District’s implementation of Fed Cash Services (FCS) High Priority initiatives, including the multi-year NextGen Program. The Project Manager will serve as the District’s subject matter expert on Cash technical and analytical issues, and he/she will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of automation tools to manage inventory and streamline operational processes. The Project Manager will also provide operational support by serving as point of contact in the absence of the Manager/Assistant Manager.

Job Description:

  • Coordinate the district-wide implementation of high-priority system initiatives, including NextGen, Cash Visibility, and the Catalyst rollout.  Represent the District by maintaining ongoing communication with FedCash Services and all relevant stakeholders to drive strategic outcomes across the District.   Serve as the District subject matter expert (SME) on Cash analytical and technical matters, including the creation and maintenance of automation tools to manage inventory and streamline operational processes.  

  • Support Cash executives in their system leader workgroup assignments by creating agendas and PowerPoints, providing district data, and coordinating district responses.

  • Provide oversight support by performing supervisory duties such as opening/closing vaults, conducting inspections, and handling escalations.


  • Establish rapport with peers, project team and key stakeholders. Collaborate with the Memphis branch Facilities project team and Memphis Cash leaders in the execution of ongoing Facilities projects.


  • Communicate with management, project teams, key stakeholders and vendors during regular project meetings or conference calls.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree required. Degree focus: business, communications, or related field of study highly preferred.


  • Project management certification preferred.


  • 5+ years’ experience in project management or equivalent operational leadership experience.


  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including eagerness and proven ability to work as part of a team; can demonstrate highly effective working relationships with technical and non-technical staff.



  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to assess data and implement tools for managing vault capacities and identifying automation opportunities.


  • Project Management: Experience overseeing and executing complex projects, with a focus on meeting deadlines and maintaining stakeholder communication.


  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Cash operations systems, procedures, and policies.


  • Leadership and Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, Cash leaders, and stakeholders in system workgroups.


  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating across various teams and providing clear updates.


  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Skilled in identifying operational challenges and developing innovative solutions.


  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects efficiently.


  • Travel 10%

Salary: $93,300 - $112,000 annual
