Job Details:



SUMMARY: Responsible for weekly broiler closing which includes, but not limited to balancing feed tickets, chick delivery tickets, live receiving information, any other duties essential to calculating weekly broiler grower pay, distribution of producer payments, maintaining producer contracts and bank assignments, and providing weekly and monthly reports to management as well as any standard or ad hoc reports as directed. Other responsibilities include, but is not limited to, maintaining compliance for permanent trailer tags, filing personal property returns, managing self-audit compliance, maintaining company assets, reviewing capital/expense projects, compiling stat figures, review and balance monthly financial statements, live production inventories, processing journal entries and any other duties associated within or outside of accounting as assigned by management. Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities, evaluating results and coordinating work load to meet all deadlines. without monitoring. REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: 3 plus years of office experience. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills including generating simple spreadsheets; Microsoft Office; working knowledge of SAP and Mtech preferred. Communication Skills: Must possess excellent written and verbal communication. Special Skills: Strong organizational analytical and problem solving skills; knowledge of multiple business units accounting requirements and general ledger coding.
