A non-profit organization located south of Glendale is looking for a Senior Accountant on a contract basis. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with audit planning and documentation, revenue analysis, helping prepare year-end files, account reconciliation, grant funding allocation, as well as general ledger management. The Senior Accountant will also prepare month-end schedules, journal and adjusting entries.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
At least three years of fiscal audit and general accounting experience.
Non-profit industry experience is preferred.
Good systems and strong MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, etc.) skills are important.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are also required.
Attention to detail and multi-tasking skills are critical.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment is essential.
Pay, $42 - 47/hr.
