Kaukahi, LLC is seeking a Real Property Field Technician in Fort Polk, Louisiana. The Field Technician is a critical member of the team responsible for facility survey projects across the United States, primarily on military installation. This role involves creating, updating, and maintaining accurate digital floor plans and space documentation. Assignments vary in duration, ranging from several days to several months, based on project size.
Key Responsibilities:
Use AutoCAD and other CAD tools to create and update digital floor plans.
Interpret architectural floor plans and adhere to AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) standards.
Document space usage and attributes within building floor plans based on standardized criteria.
Utilize computing and digital measuring tools to generate highly accurate floor plans.
Maintain high productivity and consistently meet detailed data quality standards.
Interact professionally with team members and clients.
Must be able to walk or stand for more than 6 hours per day.
Compensation Minimum: $17.00
Compensation Maximum: $20.00
Job Requirements:
Education and Skills:
Associate degree in a related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and basic knowledge of architectural floor plans.
Solid understanding of AEC standards.
Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience:
Prior CAD experience
Travel Requirements:
Willingness and ability to travel up to 100% within a given week or month.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in fast-paced environments.

Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to 25 pounds as necessary.
