The Department of Pediatrics at the University Of Miami Miller School Of Medicine is seeking a full-time physician in the Division of Neonatology to provide medical care for neonates in on a 24 hour 7 days per week rotational schedule. Candidates will have clinical duties as a Neonatal Attending in the Neonatal Services at Jackson Main, Jackson South and Jackson North Hospitals providing:
Antenatal consultation for high risk pregnancies
Care and stabilization of infants in the delivery room
Conduct daily rounds on patients in the different neonatal units
Administrative duties within the division and the Newborn Service
Teaching of residents, fellows and medical students
The position also requires development and participation in original research either clinical or translational for which extramural funding should be sought.
