The Assistant Director for Alumni Engagement supports the engagement of our alumni constituents in the traditions and transformation of our campus, ensuring alumni remain lifelong supporters and advocates of the University. This role is responsible for assisting the Millersville University Alumni Association (MUAA) while overseeing, leading, and developing our alumni volunteers. Additionally, the Assistant Director will work closely with several Reunion classes, supporting class volunteers, fostering class engagement, and coordinating alumni class event efforts.
The Assistant Director, Alumni Engagement must possess a strong ability to work cooperatively and respectfully with a diverse range of individuals. This individual must be highly organized, capable of independently managing projects, and comfortable collaborating within a highly integrated team environment.

Annual Salary: $58,139.00 - $65,721.00, plus comprehensive benefits starting on the first day of employment, including:

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
3-5 years of experience in alumni relations, constituent engagement, event planning, or a related field
Thorough knowledge of standard desktop software applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Zoom
Ability to quickly learn new software solutions such as Raiser's Edge NXT
Strong attention to detail; ability to handle multiple deadlines.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Evidence of a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Valid driver's license
Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and travel as needed to support alumni events and programs.
