The Team Leader for Oncology Rehabilitation / off Site Clinics is responsible for the daily operations with an emphasis on oncology and lymphedema, as well as the professional development of the staff of the Oncology Rehabilitation Team at clinics off site of SSCBC. Lymphedema Certification preferred. These functions include, direct patient care, direct and indirect supervision of staff, liaison with other health care professionals, program development, and quality and operational improvement activities. The James Ambulatory Services Team Leader is an integral part of the overall management of oncology rehabilitation/lymphedema programs and services within the continuum of care and in conjunction with the other participants in patient care activities (attending and resident physicians, Nurse practitioners, clinical and clerical staff, Social Workers, research personnel, and Patient Care Research Managers. The Team Leader embraces the CHAMPION and Intensive Caring values of the organization and uses them to guide interactions with others. The Team Leader reports directly to Rehab Services Manager of Oncology Rehabilitation.
Minimum Qualifications
Must hold current licensure with the State of Ohio in one of the following rehab service disciplines: Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology (Speech Pathologists must hold a master's degree; Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, must hold a bachelor's degree). All academic degrees must have been granted from an accredited institution.
