Working under supervision of the Principal Investigator of the Terrestrial Wildlife Ecology Laboratory (TWEL) the TWEL Business Operations Analyst is responsible for operation, maintenance, and scheduling use of fleet field vehicles; prepares budgets, tracks expenditures, and assists with purchase requisitions and arranging travel; prepares and compiles reports; manages a summer internship program, performs routine communications with cooperating agencies and provides logistical supports for research, teaching, and outreach programs of Forestry, Fisheries, and Wildlife faculty and staff.
Minimum Required Qualifications
B.S. in biology, ecology, natural resources or related field or equivalent experience and 2 years of relevant experience. Proficient with MS-Excel spreadsheets and MS-Word document operations and web applications such as Workday; knowledge and experience with operation and maintenance of fleet vehicles; working knowledge or understanding of governmental agency organization, administration, and operations; working knowledge or understanding of the research, outreach, and education missions of the Land-grant University; excellent organizational, time-management and communication skills; self-motivation and creative application of personal talents to new opportunities for professional development and serving the unit.
