Job Summary:
The fellowship is a one-year training position to provide advanced training inthe areas of clinical service, integration of science and practice,professionalism, and ethical decision-making. The position includes ayear-long placement at OSU- College of Health Sciences within our PsychiatryDepartment. The primary emphasis of the postdoctoral training is to support thedevelopment and implementation of our integrated care programming, specificallythe implementation of Collaborative Care programs throughout our OSU Medicineclinics. Collaborative Care is a team-based, population-based approach to carethat works to coordinate services of care managers, primary care providers, andpsychiatry consultation. The Psychology post-doc will be a key memberimplementing the program in our Family Medicine, Pediatric, and AddictionMedicine services.
In addition to primary rolesupporting our integration services, the post-doc will also have theopportunity for secondary rotations in clinics throughout the OSU system.Possible elective rotations available including Outpatient Psychotherapy,Psychological Assessment, Adult Psychiatric Inpatient, Addiction, HospitalConsult-Liaison, and research opportunities. The training year providesrequired supervision and training opportunities, including participating inpsychiatric grand rounds, didactics, and seminars. Time and support will beallotted for study to prepare for the professional licensing exam (EPPP) asneeded.
