Laboratory Research Technician I

Job Summary

Performs laboratory testing and some analysis on multiple types of specimen samples. Operates and properly sterilizes equipment and maintains inventory and assists with ordering.

Essential Functions

• Experience in maintenance of mouse colonies
• Skilled in molecular biology techniques such as PCR
• Proficiency in immunohistochemistry
• Strong organizational skills

Physical Effort

This position is a sedentary position with some lifting and walking between collaborative labs.
