Role Definition
Provides timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting as directed by management with limited supervision.
Responsibilities
Review accounting records, financial statements or other financial reports created by staff to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel and direct their work activities.
Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend and/or develop solutions to business and financial problems.
Review and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
Be a liaison between the business and technical resources
Configure Oracle Modules
Test Accounting in the Oracle Modules to ensure proper GAAP treatment for both USGAAP and Local GAAP
Create and test reports as required
Degree Requirement
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.
10+ years financial and/or accounting experience required.

Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes.
Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
Financial Record Keeping: Knowledge of financial record keeping processes, methods, and tools; ability to maintain accurate and thorough records of financial transactions.
Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.
Consideration for Top Candidates:
Previous experience with ERP Deployments.
Extensive experience in Oracle, capable of leveraging their expertise to optimize and enhance our systems and processes.
Expert knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting.
Strong interest in process improvement and learning new technology.
Additional Information:
This role is a hybrid position and would require any successful candidate to commit to a 3 day per week in office requirement.
