The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine Dental Hygiene Program announces the immediate availability of a part-time faculty position at the academic rank of Clinical Instructor in the appointment stream (non-tenure track). Academic rank and salary are commensurate with education, teaching, and professional experience. We are searching for a registered dietitian with a master's degree in education or a related discipline and a minimum of two years of successful academic teaching experience is preferred. Teaching responsibilities will include delivering asynchronous didactic instruction to the Dental Hygiene BS Degree Completion students for the DENHYG 1925 Nutrition in Community Health course offered in the Fall and Spring terms. The faculty member will be expected to develop robust asynchronous instruction and supplemental materials and provide timely and constructive feedback on exams and assignments.
