RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client in the San Francisco Bay, CA area is looking for a Contract Specialist.

Summary:
The Contracts Specialist will be responsible for supporting business partners through every phase within the contracts lifecycle management (CLM) process as well as play a pivotal role in helping the business partners navigate through the vendor management and procurement process. You will have opportunities to work closely with various stakeholders of all levels both internally and externally as well as work on key projects that have high visibility across the company. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated individual who thrives working in a high energy, fast-paced, challenging environment under tight timelines.

Duties/Day to Day Overview:


  • Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of agreements (NDAs, MSAs, SaaS agreements), order forms, SOWs and amendments required to support business activities

  • Manage vendor initiatives including sourcing activities (RFx), supplier selection, contract/pricing negotiation and spend tool administration

  • Build strategic partnerships and serve as a procurement/contracting SME to our business partners by providing guidance on sourcing, contracting and vendor management strategies

  • Analyze company spend regularly to appropriately determine and execute on sourcing initiative and cost saving opportunities

  • Partner with Legal, Corporate Accounting, Risk and Compliance teams with respect to contract reviews, threatened and actual litigation, corporate compliance issues, and other similar matters affecting the supported business units

  • Attend and/or lead team meetings reporting on contract status and metrics related to renewals, vendor spend, and cost savings

  • Help create, deploy and maintain best in class procurement, contracting and vendor management processes and workflows for the Technology organization







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Four-year Undergraduate degree (preferably in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field)

  • 3-5 years of experience related to contracts management experience

  • Experience redlining contracts (MSA or SOW) and vendor negotiating around terms and conditions

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high volume of transactional contracts

  • Contract experience related to IT, SaaS and hardware contracts is required

  • Experience supporting a technology organization and partnering with different cross-functional teams to work through contracts (i.e., legal, security, vendor partners, etc.)

  • Retail technology experience is highly preferred

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat

  • Experience with e-signature tools and spend management tools

  • Background in legal is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
