Volt is immediately hiring for Production Packers in Rancho Dominguez, California
As a Production worker you will:
Load peanuts and chocolate products into containers
Weighing and metal detecting appropriately
Packaging final products
Must be able to safely work with automated industrial equipment kettle batching
Work with Raw materials
Inspect raw materials
Frequent pushing or pulling of material and/or equipment 45 lbs. Frequent standing and walking
Comply with all company SOP's (specific SOP's particular for Job), GMP's, and SQF (specify regulations)
This is a Full-Time opportunity.
1st shift - 5:00AM - 3:30PM 4/10
2nd shift -3:30PM - 2:00AM 4/10
Monday - Thursday Friday, OT req 8 AM 3:30 PM
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Play as a team player with the team
ability to lift 50lbs, unload boxes up to 50 lbs
understanding of GMP processes
willingness to work holidays and some weekends or Fridays
Food packaging or MFG experience
Pay Rate:$17.27
