Based in Windsor, CT, Triumph Systems, Electronics and Controls is a leading independent aerospace system supplier for the commercial and military helicopter and business jet markets and employs approximately 115 personnel. The Company's key products and services include design, development, manufacture and support of highly engineered mechanical actuation and components for fixed wing and rotary commercial and military aircraft and military systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration of OE, spares and overhaul and repair contracts for a diverse range of commercial and military customers both domestic and international.
• Complete order review, entry, acknowledgement, and process amendments.
• Initiates the Contract Review process by documenting the customer's order and contract flow-down requirements and routes those requirements to the appropriate internal departments.
• Perform preliminary review and analysis of contract terms and conditions as well as conduct preliminary research of specific contract issues.
• Perform preliminary review of various contractually binding documents: MOU (Memorandum of Understanding), MOI (Memorandum of Intent), NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement), and PIA (Proprietary Information Agreement) in coordination with Management.
• Ensures that the obligations of the contract are fulfilled throughout the duration of the contract. Conducts routine review and response to customer contract demands in coordination with the Business Development, Contracts and Program Management groups.
• Interpret contract language and consult with management and corporate legal as needed for matters requiring legal interpretation.
• Ensure ERP sales order entry is complete, timely, and accurate.
• Maintain custody and order of all contractual documents.
• Maintains phone and written communication with customers relative to contract issues.
• Meet customer expectations and maintain strong customer relationships while focused on risk and cost control, to contribute to organizational profitability and success.
• Initiate the enterprise-wide contract review necessary to submit customer proposals. This includes providing input and direction to pricing, statement of work verification, terms and conditions verification, preliminary proposed draft response, and adherence to quality and supply chain requirements.
• Provide negotiation support to Contracts, Business Development and Program Management as required.
• Prepare quotes and proposals in response to advance customer requests, RMAs, and units already at the production or repair stations.
• Support Finance, Program Management, Engineering, and Compliance regarding contract matters, regulatory issues, government contracting, and commercial contracting.
• Assist in developing and implementing standard process and procedure of the contract administration function.
• Support monthly SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) meetings to ensure accurate part provisioning.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, plus to 3-5 years of experience preferred.
• Extremely strong customer service skills, strong business acumen and positive attitude required.
• High volume quoting and contract award environment. Fast-paced, multi-tasker with superior organization skills and closing skills required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required – Excel Mastery is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of JDE ERP system preferred.
• Previous contract administration experience in the aerospace industry preferred.
• FAR and government contracting experience and knowledge preferred.
