Job Description:

Candidate will be responsible for leading a team focus on maximizing software development competencies of the team. The candidate will have direct reporting for a team of 10+ reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong software development background to create strong mentorship and training plans for the team. In addition, the candidate will also be involved in the evolution of our software platforms and have day to day responsibility of coaching on technical topics and brainstorming with the project teams. The software architectures will include the functional areas of energy management, power quality and power automation. The applications are primarily edge (on-prem) applications but will have integration with Cloud platforms and AI models as well.

Education Required:


  • Four-year CS, CE or EE degree required

  • Microsoft Certifications are a plus

Experience Required:


  • 3 to 5 years of experience with software team leadership

  • 3 years minimum of large-scale commercial software development experience

  • A good track record of interfacing with other teams to produce software products.

  • Experience in all phases of software development, from requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.

Technical Background Required:


  • Solid knowledge of C#

  • Experience with frameworks such as React or Angular

  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design & Analysis

  • Solid experience of writing modular code that is clear, testable and maintainable

  • Familiar with various design and architectural patterns

  • Familiar with Test Driven Development, continuous integration, and agile software best practices

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills

  • A good track record of team leadership and interfacing with other teams to solve problems

  • Excellent communication skills within a technical environment (written & oral)

  • Good track record of obtaining results with minimal supervision in a fast-paced team environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Good interpersonal team skills for teamwork, respect, courtesy, tact, and discretion

  • Ability to accommodate international & domestic travel once or twice a quarter
