Your Role:
At MilliporeSigma, the Packer/Shipper will perform a wide variety of tasks involved in the Picking, packing and storage of raw materials, finished goods, and supplies within the Distribution Center. Additional duties of this role include:
Transferring materials from the Distribution Center to the Manufacturing Plant.
Performing Inventory counts, product consolidation, stocking, and general warehouse organization.
Shipping of materials or finished goods within compliance of DOT, IATA, and DC SOP's.
Legible and accurate documentation
Managing the storage of finished goods and raw materials in an orderly manner
This position will require that the successful hire join the union.
Physical Attributes:
Lift, push, and or pull up to 70lbs
Who You Are:
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of warehouse experience
Experience operating electronic systems and general computer skills.
General knowledge of organization and storage of materials
Forklift certification
