This position manages and leads a team of professionals in support of enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives.
Essential Functions
Responsibilities include: corporate strategic planning, analysis, process/project management development, system support, creating and implementing the most effective short and long term sourcing strategies, and managing complex negotiations with third parties.
Responsible for creating long and short term strategies that align with corporate goals and produce the most cost effective solutions.
Responsible for the development of professionals while creating an innovative and effective organization in support of Company goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in supply chain, business, finance, mathematics or other quantitative discipline.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years professional business experience in analytical/quantitative sourcing activities across multiple complex categories, including program or project management roles. A related advanced degree may offset the experience requirements. Proven leadership experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Outstanding human relations, negotiating and communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to interact effectively with senior leadership. Excellent analytical, process/project management skills. Ability to innovate and produce high quality results and sourcing solutions across multiple categories on a consistent basis.
Preferred Qualifications: Deep knowledge of the supplier landscape for Information Technology (IT), experience leading teams that deliver value/knowledge of supplier market, understanding of IT value chains; financial acumen and Total Cost of Ownership. Relocation assistance is available.

Additional Details: This position will be hybrid and candidates must live within a 50-mile radius as employees will be required to work at a FedEx Campus location several times per week. Position may be hybrid in Plano, TX, Collierville, TN or Pittsburgh, PA.
