Provide leadership and initiative in the overall coordination of designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs highly complex software programs for enhancements and new products. Responsible for highly complex concept design through the full development life cycle. Prepares and conducts systems programming test requiring interfacing and software tests. Coaches others in less senior positions. Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment in lieu of a Master's degree plus 2 years of experience.



Requirements



The position requires experience with: Java, J2EE; Microservices Architecture (SpringBoot, Resilienc4J, SpingCloud components, 12-factor patterns); Node JS and GraphQL; Relational Database Management Systems/DDL/DML (Oracle) and NoSQL Database (MongoDB); PaaS (PCF); CI/CD using automated pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub), scripting to manage server scripts (Linux); API Design First Strategy, Governance and Version Management (SwaggerHub); Enabling operational visibility (monitoring and alerting) and metrics using tools such as AppDynamics, DynaTrace, Splunk. A related advanced degree may offset the experience requirements.
