Location: Boston, MA

Salary: $75,000.00 USD Annually - $95,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our client is currently seeking an Account Executive - Food Ingredients!


Our client is a leading distributor of essential food commodities such as flour, sugar, and eggs. They cater to food manufacturers, food-service providers, and restaurants, ensuring a seamless supply chain for high-quality ingredients. As we continue to grow, we seek a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our team.


Responsibilities:


1.Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:


•Identify and prospect new clients within the food manufacturing, food-service, and restaurant sectors.


•Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.


2.Sales Strategy and Execution:


•Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. •


Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients.


3.Market Analysis:


•Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.


•Conduct regular market research to identify new opportunities for business growth.


4.Negotiation and Contract Management:


•Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements.


•Manage contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.


5.Product Knowledge:


•Maintain a deep understanding of our product portfolio, including specifications, pricing, and availability.


•Educate clients on the benefits and features of our food commodities.


6.Collaboration with Internal Teams:


•Work closely with the procurement, logistics, and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.


•Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns.


Qualifications:


•Proven experience as an Account Executive or in a similar sales role, preferably in the food distribution industry.


•Strong understanding of the food manufacturing, food-service, and restaurant sectors.


•Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.


•Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.


•Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
