POSITION SUMMARY:
A technical delivery manager combines aspects of support and leadership in order to enable success for technical teams. Technical delivery managers are an integral part of IT operations and agile development teams, and combine skills in communications, administration, leadership, and technology to remove obstacles and hindrances that would delay successful product completion. This position requires you to liaise between your team and other departments and management, so interpersonal skills are vital to your ability to create solutions. ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Function A:
Work with IT infrastructure team technology partners, and solution providers to ensure engagement with the teams as well as strategic alignment to the plans and delivery roadmap.
Manage project implementation teams; create an internal environment of teamwork, sharing, enthusiasm and mutual respect. Provide visibility into delivery targets, commitments and progress.
Implement and oversee change management processes for technology projects.
Lead and manage multiple IT infrastructure and operations projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status, milestones, and deliverables to all levels of the organization.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating when necessary.
Function B:
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
Ensure compliance with IT governance, security policies, and industry best practices.
Develop a practical roadmap to implement necessary capabilities and lead the execution through collaboration with various IT and Business stakeholders to achieve tangible results.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of:
Understands agile development practices in detail, has strong project execution skills, and can demonstrate leadership across various IT functions.
How to foster an environment of collaboration, inclusiveness and diversity through supervisory practices, communications, and demonstrated business behaviors.
Conceptual understanding of IT infrastructure components, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud technologies
Project management methodologies and proficiency demonstrated in various methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Knowledgeable and comfortable utilizing project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira)
Ability to:
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Proactively identify impediments and appropriately resolves using network of peers and formal channels.
Work in a complex, fast-paced environment with the ability to remain focused on organizational goals under conditions of uncertainty and change.
Demonstrate proven use of diplomacy in working relationships to address conflict and arbitrate solutions successfully.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, network engineers, and security specialists.
The ability to identify potential risks to upcoming or ongoing work and pivots as needed to ensure project success.
Ability to convey highly technical concepts and dependencies to business non-IT stakeholders.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, math, and computer science. However, upon evaluation, equivalent related experience and/or education may be substituted for the degree.
5 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on infrastructure and operations projects
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) principles
Experience with document management software (Confluence, Sharepoint)
Experience with CMDB software (ServiceNow)
