Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota
Purpose: The Operations Team Lead is responsible for accurate order fulfillment, assisting with quality and inventory control.
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Essential Functions:
Plan and communicate daily tasks/schedule to team members. Adjusting and re-assigning team members to other departments as needed during the day based on business needs.
Lead and train warehouse personnel to help them achieve professional potentialTraining Warehouse Associate 3s and new employees.Train the trainer on equipment
Prepare and complete daily orders for customer shipments/deliveries; includes picking orders, labeling shipments, and all systems and paperwork associated with the orders are completed.Stage and load outbound shipments.Receive inbound shipments and put the product away in the appropriate locations. Making sure that all paperwork is accurate, and information is accurately entered into the system. Notify Sourcing when product arrives with quality issues.
Schedule inbound dock appointments. Conduct daily product inspectionsCoordinate with QC if product needs further inspection or is needed to be sorted or repackedAdjusting inventory as needed
Ensure daily Cycle Counts are conducted and are accurate. Replenishments product from overstock locations into picking locationsEnsure all opening and closing daily processes are completed and documented.Ensure all Food Safety, SSOPs and OSHA Safety documentation is completed. Familiar with all warehouse equipment/assets and ensures they are maintained/operational.Maintain warehouse organizationPlans, organizes, and facilitates optimized layout for the warehouseCleaning Maintain the facility
Lead and maintain employee satisfaction and engagement by using reward and recognition tools that are available
Perform other tasks or projects assigned by CPW Leadership.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalency and 2+ years of previous warehouse experienceCertified forklift operator is a plusBi-lingual is a plusAbility to lift 40-70 lbs. repeatedly, with frequent bending, stopping, and twisting.Ability to work for extended periods of time under cold, wet conditionsAbility to provide a strong leader presence amongst peersMust have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work both independently and as a team
Demonstrated ability to work with customers and coworkers from diverse cultural backgrounds.
