Primary Purpose: Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by providing housekeeping and laundry services for Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center and its residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean resident rooms, common areas, and workspaces to meet health standards, using universal precautions.
Launder, dry, fold, and deliver linens, maintaining clean and organized work and storage areas.
Handle tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, washing windows, and moving furniture as needed.
Report safety hazards, equipment needs, or maintenance issues promptly to supervisors.
Maintain and restock cleaning supplies, paper products, and soap.
Adhere to confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and residents' rights.
Operate industrial washers, dryers, and other equipment, recording weights and following pre-programmed systems.
Push/pull up to 250 pounds and lift 0–50 pounds regularly, with assistance for heavier loads.
Perform other tasks as assigned to ensure cleanliness and resident satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Less than high school education or equivalent experience; on-the-job training provided.
Strong time management, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow instructions, adapt to changing situations, and handle multiple tasks.
Working Conditions:
Exposure to cleaning chemicals, wet conditions, and potential pathogens.
Shifts vary, including weekends and holidays.
Working Hours: Flex position and hours may vary from 5:00am - 10:00pm, based on business need. Must be able to work weekends/Holidays as scheduled.
Working Location: This is not a remote position and work must be performed in-person.
