SUMMARY
The Organizational Development Specialist provides strategic facilitation and team-building support for the customer during a critical period of transition and strategic planning. Works closely with leadership to conduct workshops, facilitates team retreats, and provides coaching to improve team cohesion, operational efficiency, and alignment with mission goals.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Collaborates with leadership to develop facilitation plans for workshops that address mission-wide priorities. These workshops will encourage critical thinking, reflection, and inclusive participation among technical and management teams, focusing on strategic themes identified during portfolio reviews.
Leads workshops designed to promote mission-wide strategic thinking and cross-sector collaboration. The workshops emphasize strategic themes relevant to mission goals, ensuring broad participation and inclusive engagement.
Produces executive summaries and key recommendations following each workshop, shares insights with mission leadership to inform and refine the strategic planning process.
Conducts consultations and interviews with team members and key stakeholders to assess team development needs and establishes goals for team support activities. This process may include both individual interviews and, if needed, an online survey.
Plans and facilitates team retreats aimed at fostering open communication, trust-building, and collaboration. Each retreat will be structured in collaboration with leadership to address team challenges and enhance morale.
Prepares a report following each retreat, summarizing key outcomes, actionable steps, and recommendations for ongoing team development.
Provides ongoing coaching and mentoring to leadership and staff to assist with leadership transitions and evolving responsibilities. This includes both one-on-one coaching and group sessions, tailored to the needs of the team.
Implements follow-up actions from prior retreats to maintain continuity in team morale and operational effectiveness, ensuring team members are supported as they adjust to new roles and responsibilities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred), and a minimum of at least ten (10) years of relevant experience in strategic planning, organizational development, or similar roles within the development sector.

The estimated pay range for this role is $63.27 to $75, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
