As an Exterior Services Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the exterior areas of our retail facilities. Your responsibilities will include preparing and executing budgets, managing scheduled projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, controlling costs, leading third-party providers, troubleshooting issues, and evaluating replacement needs. You will collaborate with stakeholders to implement processes that meet business needs while promoting continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Prepare and execute budgets for projects, including cost estimates, approving purchases, and verifying receipt and acceptance
Gather capital expenditures lists and develop scopes of work to update existing assets, including landscaping, snow events, case cleaning, and shopping cart maintenance
Comply with OSHA and EPA regulations, following Walmart's safety policies and environmental guidelines
Control costs through price comparisons, submitting warranty claims, and providing required paperwork
Lead third-party providers, fostering professional growth, coaching, and conducting performance evaluations
Troubleshoot and provide customer service, communicating with facility users, resolving issues, and ensuring a safe work environment
Evaluate replacement needs, implement upgrades, explore potential improvements, and ensure completed work meets quality standards
Coordinate and complete job-related activities, developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, and identifying improvement opportunities
Develop, communicate, and implement processes to meet business needs, collaborating with teams, analyzing information, and monitoring progress
Promote compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, explaining and guiding their application, and assisting management with correcting issues
Lead and participate in teams, sharing resources, determining customer needs, coordinating work assignments, providing feedback, and adapting to change
Education:
Vocational or Technical Certification or 2 years' experience in Mechanical Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance, or Construction and/or related field

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00-$35.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
