This research associate will manage an EPA Cooperative Agreement focused on helping businesses transition to more sustainable packaging. The associate will meet with businesses in the surrounding area to complete sustainability audits to find new packaging that aligns with EPA guidelines. Other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
25% - Essential - Generate new leads of interested businesses wanting to take part in the program.
25% - Essential - Work with existing companies to implement sustainability transition plans.
25% - Essential - Manage graduate students and help implement program at partner organizations.
25% - Essential - Help write and organize case studies, reports, and presentations to support the program.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - 1st Bachelor's Degree - Help write and organize case studies, reports, and presentations to support the program.
Experience - Understanding of safety, and sustainability concerning packaging materials
RESPONSIBILITIES:
JOB KNOWLEDGE Fundamental Job Knowledge - Fundamental working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to apply in varied situations
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervises Student Workers only - Supervises Student workers only
