Job Overview

The Health Educator provides Comprehensive Prevention Education and outreach to diverse populations in a variety of settings while promoting the mission of AltaMed Health Services. Provides support to Project Manager with implementation of curriculum and work plans for several grants.

In addition, will work with the health education team to conduct training for AltaMed staff and community members. S/he will maintain the health education distribution center as well as aid in the development of a health education center at each AltaMed site.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelors Degree in Science in Health Science with an emphasis in Community Health Education or related field

2. Minimum 2-3 years experience or internship in health care field or community outreach

Compensation

$24.00 - $28.15 hourly
