The division is renowned nationally and internationally for excellence in adolescent medicine research, clinical care, and education. Current research focuses on sexual and reproductive health (HIV prevention, HPV vaccines, STI diagnostics), transgender health, environmental influences on puberty, and eating disorder outcomes, with plans to expand research on eating disorders and substance abuse.
