JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Projects - Lead, coordinate, and participate in special projects. Collaborates with others to implement and evaluate departmental or organization wide project plans.
Assessment - Monitor the effectiveness of institutional practices. Recommend strategies for improving processes and compliance. Produce reports related to safety activities/risks/progress. Achieves safety goals/ aims as outlined in the Medical Centers strategic plan Safety analysis and proactive assessment to identify risks/hazards.
Investigation - Incident investigations and follow-up to develop corrective and preventative practices and procedures. Provide education and training.
Data Analysis - Compile, organize, summarize, prepare and/or analyze data for projects and initiatives. May process and distribute ad hoc requests. May participate in data or database management. May develop, conduct, and audit trends and historic data. May provide data to assist with audits and/or maintain records.
Safety Programs - Develop, implement, manage and improve institutional safety programs. Serves as a resource and expert to provide guidance.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a related field
5+ years of work experience in a related job discipline
