JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Rotations - Participate in five required rotations within the Pharmacy Division as well as other divisions at CCHMC, including Administration, longitudinal Ambulatory Care, General Pediatrics, PICU or CICU and NICU. Complete a minimum of four elective rotations which have been approved by the Residency Director in order to gain additional experience in areas of particular interest. Complete activities as assigned during each clinical rotation.
Teaching and Education - Present continuing education programs to the Division of Pharmacy. Present a minimum of three formal cases/seminars; the last case/seminar being on the resident's project. Provide in-service education to medical and nursing staffs as assigned.
Performance Improvement - Review adverse drug reactions and compile non-formulary drug request data.
Research/Scholarly Activity - Complete a major residency project during the year dealing with a subject pertinent to pharmacy services and/or patient care at CCHMC. Complete the project by deadline and submit a written report in a format conforming to accepted manuscript guidelines.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a related field
2+ years of work experience in a related job discipline
Pharmacist License
