Performs work associated with processing customer orders.
Essential Duties:
Receives and verifies purchase Trading company orders.
Receives and verifies purchase orders for select key customers.
Ensures product availability prior to order processing.
Reviews orders for completeness, ensuring that all incomplete orders are forwarded for further processing.
Enters the appropriate customer and billing information on order forms.
Drafts invoices, contracts, and other shipment documents.
Monitors delivery dates.
Resolves customer complaints regarding order processing issues.
Keeps track of product inventory and alerts relevant departments when supplies run low.
New Item request liaison - ensures product does not already exist.
Coordinates yield tests with production.
Compiles all completed information for Category Management for new item submittal.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
One or more years of related experience
Knowledge of meat a plus
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multitask
Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.
