Innova Solutions has an immediate need for a Construction Contracts Administrator onsite in Nashville TN.
This position supports project team in contracts administration, and will provide direct assistance to the administration & professional members within the Development & Engineering Department. This includes department or Division leadership, project managers, and Project Controls Staff.
Job description: (Candidates with capabilities outlined in Items 1-12 below would be considered at the bottom of the pay range. A candidate with all capabilities below would be considered in the entire pay range)
Data entry related to contract and payment development and tracking.
Document development and routing of contractual related documents.
Drafting, assembly and preparing of payment application invoices.
Department invoice tracking.
Contract assembly, preparation and routing for professional services and construction contracts.
Contract amendments and change orders.
Board staff analysis documents.
Tracking, invoicing and management of annual or on-call contracts.
Contract renewal of annual or on-call contracts.
Owner controlled insurance program and insurance tracking.
Assists with revisions and updating of the department standard operating procedures.
Participate in preparation, assembly, and review of bid documents for procurement of design, construction and management services on behalf of the owner
Participate in development and review of Scope of Work, RFP/RFQ/ITB documents and contract terms and conditions
Provides support to project delivery team and coordinates inter-departmental correspondence during bidding and award phase
Thoroughly knowledgeable about all prevalent contract delivery methodologies within the construction industry - especially traditional and progressive design-build with Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP)
Solid understanding of SMWBE/MBE requirements
Identify, record, quantify & communicate any risks, conflicts and discrepancies within existing methods, processes and documents associated with acquisition of contracts and services
Provides subject matter expertise to project managers on issues pertaining to any of the contractual items such as insurance, bonds, warranties, use of contract and owner contingency, allowances, budget allocations, payment requests, performance issues, delays, disputes and claims
Assists the project manager in handling activities related to contract closeout
Maintains contract documentation within Procore and networked filing systems
Prepare detailed workflows and procedures for review and approval of contractor pay applications, contract change management
PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
