Location: Princeton, New Jersey
Reporting to the V.P. Finance, North America (NAR), business partnering with the President US and Mexico.
Strategic development and operational management of the cluster controlling organization under the functional guidance of the V.P. Finance NAR
Supports the successful development of the cluster through effective financial steering and business partnering to the President and the cluster leadership team.
Focusing on an organization's financial planning, forecasting and analysis activities using commercial finance methodologies, tools, and instruments.
Working closely with Regional Finance to implement cluster targets and with the cluster leadership team on achieving these targets.
Responsibilities:
• Leadership role for the FP&A team of 3-4 FTEs
• Risk management for the cluster.
• Leading the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including capital expenditure planning
• Overseeing the development of financial models for budgeting and forecasting ensuring accuracy.
• Analyzing current financial performance against historical data and forecasts
• Identifying trends and making recommendations for financial optimization
• Managing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Presenting financial results, operational data, and strategies to senior management
• Offer financial guidance to the senior management team on key business decisions, incl. but not limited to short and long-term financial planning, market investments, customer/channel/territory profitability and cost development.
• Align and coordinate decisions from Procurement, Logistics, HR and other key global functions regarding cost/P&L development for cluster.
• Support of structural finance projects of commercial finance and regional finance
Requirements:
• University Degree in business administration with major in Finance (or comparable)
• High business acumen and commercial mindset
• 5-7 years' experience in a multi-national role
• Multi-year leadership experience
• Strong track record in finance and of successfully executed projects.
• Good ability to build relationships with business partners.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English; Spanish an asset.
• Mobility and general willingness to work abroad for short to long-term assignments
