What You'll Bring
5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, in a client-facing or consulting environment
Development experience in front-end and back-end programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C#, Java, Kotlin or Swift
Proficiency with multiple programming environments and tools
Familiarity with developing multi-platform software
Display passion for delivering high quality products that meet customer's needs, the craft of software development and a drive to improve technically
Strong problem-solving and software triage skills with the ability to work multi-functionally in a fast-moving and constantly evolving work environment
Desire to continuously learn and grow to develop modern software solutions
Knowledge of agile methodologies
Experience with RESTful web services and APIs
Experience with common JavaScript libraries (React, Vue, Angular, jQuery)
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, CouchDB, etc.)
Experience with DevOps processes (Continuous Integration/Delivery/Deployment, Automation, etc.)
Familiarity with modern, cloud-based solutions in AWS, GCP or Azure
Basic understanding of AI-assisted software engineering practices (GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, etc.), with a strong willingness to deepen AI development expertise
What You'll Do
Collaborate with client and other Slalom team members to develop applications that provide measurable business value to our clients
Build technical acumen across the stack through hands-on experience with the latest technologies and delivery methodologies
Work in a fast-paced, agile project environment with small, focused teams
Write the code to deliver solution-focused, outcome-orientated projects in collaboration with a highly skilled team
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to peers, less experienced engineers, and client personnel
Be an active member of a growing team; help define and influence team culture & standards
Engage with other Slalom team members through internal meetings, demos and events
