Be part of an operation that focuses on the sustainment and modernization of tactical aircraft, ensuring they remain ready and capable. This facility is a cornerstone of aerospace maintenance and support, providing essential services to enhance military aircraft's operational life and capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Develop repair dispositions and fabrication requirements for discrepant aircraft conditions discovered during maintenance, modifications, and overhaul activities.
Use engineering source documents to provide technical guidance and references for repair work.
Estimate labor budgets and material requirements for repair tasks, including supporting negotiations when necessary.
Conduct spot checks of work documents to identify improvement opportunities and ensure accuracy.
Perform liaison planning tasks to resolve document issues, provide reports, and implement planning changes for hangar floor and flight line operations.
Qualifications:
Educational Requirements: Not specified, but relevant experience required.
Experience in the F-16 aviation/aircraft maintenance field.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering documents and drawings.
Experience in planning work sequences and estimating repair efforts.
Ability to write detailed aircraft work documents.
Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Familiarity with military technical manuals and contractual requirements to distinguish basic work from Over & Above (O&A) work.
Demonstrated experience in direct customer interactions.
Preferred:
Strong organizational and communication skills.
