A major Fortune 200 Company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their quickly growing team in their Newark, DE office. This position will work closely with other departments to manage various accounting responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily tasks related to the month-end close process
Work with upper management to resolve disrepencies and improve processes
Prepare month-end closing journal entries, account reconciliations, and bank reconciliations
Produce and report Financial Statements including analysis
Assist in the annual budgeting process and cash management activities
Collaborate with the accounting team with minimal supervision
Prepare schedules and analyses
Assist with auditing to ensure a smooth process for the team
Demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and manage time efficiently
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
4+ years of experience
CPA is a plus
Public accounting experience is a plus
