RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Financial Execution Analyst in Leesburg, VA.

Responsibilities:
Financial Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Reconcile and report DAF DSS financial data to leadership and stakeholders


• Analyze financial data using systems such as DEAMS, CRIS, and Microsoft Excel, ensuring data accuracy and currency


• Prepare financial reports and presentations tailored to leadership and government stakeholders, ensuring current and accurate data

Budget Execution and Oversight:

• Monitor monthly obligations and expenditures, identifying under/over obligations and reprogramming actions


• Ensure accurate execution of the DAF DSS program budget and develop budget forecasts and multi-year budget requests


• Identify unliquidated obligations and erroneous financial processing, providing timely resolutions

Compliance and Governance:

• Ensure programmatic compliance with DoD and Air Force financial policies and audit requirements


• Maintain and develop financial governance documents such as action plans and inquiry responses

Stakeholder Management:

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, proactively responding to inquiries within 2 business days


• Collaborate with program managers to develop advocacy strategies that align with mission requirements

Program Support and Improvement:

• Provide strategic recommendations on financial management decisions and support process improvements


• Evaluate the financial health of the program, developing and presenting recommendations for corrective action where necessary

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is highly desired


• DoD Financial Management (FM) Level 2 certification or equivalent is highly desired; In lieu of certification, extensive relevant experience will be considered


• Minimum of 4 years of experience in government financial resource management, budgetary actions, and execution

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
