Kforce has a client that is seeking a Remote Data Architect. This person will foster value creation from the use of the internal organization's data assets, as well as from the external data ecosystem. The Data Architect will source the value through envisioning data-enabled strategies as well as enabling all forms of business outcomes through analytics, data and analytics governance, and enterprise information policy.
Responsibilities:
Creates design principles and prepares technical and infrastructure architecture deliverables that meet business requirements and customer needs
Participates in product design recommendations that span the entire infrastructure framework
Develops logical and physical database models; Writes scripts and commands for data manipulation
Plans and conducts database unit and systems tests; monitors results and takes corrective actions; Monitors and resolves database performance, capacity, data integrity, and replication issues
Serve as a central point of access to data across the organization
Drives prioritization of data requests, considering organizational goals and strategic plan
Assists with evaluation, participation in, and management of comparative databases to reduce duplication and ensure maximum return on investment
Responsible for data governance, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data definitions across the organization when possible
Sustains knowledge of current trends as it relates to data analytics
Supports the gathering and interpretation of data; Draws conclusions and formulates recommendations to assist in quality, safety and strategic initiatives
Recognizes the strengths and weaknesses of various data sources; Works with stakeholders to recommend utilization of specific data sources to most effectively capture desired information
Communicate the benefits of the enterprise data architecture to various stakeholders in order to focus on meeting business and IT needs
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree of some sort is required, as this may extend past the approved 12 months
5-12 years of experience
Financial Crimes experience and exposure to AML or Fraud
Knowledge of banking transactions, relational database, data mapping, system architecture
Spark/informatica and data mapping experience
SQL expert
Highly analytical
Self starter and quick learner
Collaborative and used to working in teams
Experience using JIRA or similar and agile ways of working
Able to provide thought leadership and suggestions on problems and decisions relating to Fin Crimes data and decisions
Understanding of data lineage and reconciliations
Able to write tech docs, data mapping, JIRA user stories
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
