Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's notable semiconductor client is looking for a CAD Drafter/Designer to join their Fremont, CA team. This role is 100% onsite.

Summary:

• In this role as a Drafter/Designer, you will be creating and modifying detailed drawings using CAD hardware and software from sketches, layouts or notes provided by engineering


• Contributing to the design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation or quality of product


• Checking drawing plots versus the project input for correctness and conformance to standards


• The Drafter/Designer will be working with engineers regarding model accuracy, design, drafting standards and ECN/ECR documentation

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficiency in CAD software


• Understanding of engineering drawings


• Knowledge of manufacturing processes


• ECN/ECR documentation experience


• Team coordination experience


• Exceptional analytical and experimental design skills


• Clear communication and presentation skills

Nice to have:

• NX experience


• Product design and technical engineer experience


• Experience designing, specifying, building, operating, and maintaining semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, or related hardware, tools, and equipment


• Experience coordinating and communicating with cross-functional teams


• Creative thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting capabilities

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
