Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Systems Engineer 3 in Phoenix, AZ.

Details:

• Start ASAP, 6-month assignment duration with intent to convert to FTE if a good fit


• Virtual role as Contractor - once FTE there would be some travel - 2x year if not in Arizona


• Required Contractor Location: Onshore Only (no California), Arizona time zone preferred

Responsibilities:

• The Systems Engineer will mostly work on backend components of applications


• Designing, developing, and optimizing systems that process data, handle requests, and manage application logic behind the scenes


• Writing code for APIs, events handling (publisher and consumer), and database (Oracle) to enable seamless communication and functionality


• Creating and managing APIs to allow front-end and third-party applications to interact with backend systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance

REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge/experience in Oracle EBS would be a benefit for migration of applications into AWS


• Full Stack Engineer + EBS/Oracle experience


• Coding Languages - JavaScript, Java


• AWS - S3, code pipeline, Lambda, ECS, EKS, MSK, Glue Schema Registry, Architectures


• Microservices including containerization and orchestration


• Event driven architecture including messaging protocols and event handling


• API design including monitoring and logging


• Deployment - Terraform, Bitbucket (or any other CI/CD tool)

Good to have:

• Experience in cross-functional collaboration in an Agile environment


• DevOps knowledge


• Flowable


• Oracle e-Business Suite with possible module names like AP (Accounts Payable), AR (Accounts Receivable), GL (General Ledger) - the key applications a plus; Languages: C, C++,Unix Shell Scripting, SQL, PL/SQL

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
