RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Data Quality Engineer in Dallas, TX.

Summary:
The Senior Data Quality Engineer will develop and implement an automated testing framework for a data platform. This includes supporting agile development, regression, and continuous testing efforts, utilizing various testing tools and processes to ensure high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Senior Data Quality Engineer will design and implement automated test frameworks and tools for the data platform

  • Develop testing practices to ensure defect-free releases

  • Collaborate with the QA team to understand and implement business requirements

  • Mentor the team on effective testing practices, including test-driven development

  • Use SQL to test ETL/data pipelines and develop data quality testing plans

  • As a Senior Data Quality Engineer, you will automate regression testing and integrate quality practices into the SDLC

  • Certify releases for quality and alignment with business requirements

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are met







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • 5+ years of QA experience, preferably in data-related domains

  • Proficiency in SQL and Spark SQL

  • Experience building automated test frameworks from scratch

  • Strong experience in programming languages like Python or PySpark

  • Experience with ETL/ELT testing and cloud data platforms

  • Expert level experience in Databricks for testing data quality and business requirements

Additional Skills:

  • Strong understanding of QA tools and agile development practices

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Ability to lead and influence change within teams






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
