Job Description:

FactSet is looking for a talented Software Engineer to join the Institutional Buy-Side Services Engineering team. IBS Services is a fast-growing suite of applications that ensures timely completion and data accuracy of client data integration and reporting workflows. Applications include internal and external websites and APIs, as well as substantial backend infrastructure to support these high volume and time-sensitive data flows.

In this role you will work as a full-stack engineer on an Agile team to solve complex problems with a focus on performance, stability, and scalability. You will collaborate with various engineering and product teams across the company to meet our clients' constantly evolving needs. You will also help drive the future technological direction of our business line as we transition our infrastructure to the cloud.

Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using cloud technologies


  • Warehouse business intelligence data to facilitate data-driven development


  • Explore new technologies to modernize and scale our applications


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical field


  • Experience in at least one of Python, JavaScript, C#, or C++


  • Experience writing unit tests


Desired Skills:


  • Experience with web frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React, and AngularJS)


  • Experience with API development


  • Experience with relational database development


The budgeted salary range for this position in the state of Connecticut is $80,000 - $115,000.
